House Recordings is owned and operated by Brando Marius.  Brando has been a professional audio engineer for fifteen years.  He has worked as the audio recordist for many broadcast shows, both live and taped.  He has also worked on records for major labels as well as independent artists.

cover170x170A track from Precious Bryant's album "The Truth," titled "Morning Train," is featured on the soundtrack of the Paramount motion picture "Black Snake Moan."  The film features Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Ricci and Justin Timberlake.  This was engineered by Brando Marius and produced by Amos Harvey.



Brando engineered tracks for Rhonda Vincent's hit single "If Heartaches Had Wings," which appears on hergrammy release "One Step Ahead." This Album was a Grammy nominee for Best Bluegrass Album 2003. He was also an assistant engineer on Doctor Ralph Stanley's record "Clinch Mountain Sweethearts," which was a Grammy nominee for Best Bluegrass Album 2001.



ksm9Brando was a consulting engineer in the development of Shure microphones KSM9 vocal microphone.  The KSM9 is a unique microphone as it has a switchable cardioid and super cardioid pattern.  It has developed a high profile in the industry.
